| 8 | MOTION Reduction of School Hours Having both listened to the views expressed by parents and considered the financial sanctions that the Scottish Government have intimated that they would apply to those Councils that fail to meet their commitment to maintain teacher numbers in 2015/16 I am moving that:- 1. The decision taken by Council at the budget meeting on 11 February 2015 with regard to the provisional 2016/17 Revenue Budget to "review of options to reduce Primary School teaching hours from 25 to 22.5 hours per week", is removed, and 2. Officers are asked to look at all possible alternative budget savings options and prepare a report to be brought to a future Council meeting. Proposed by Councillors Alan Nimmo and Craig Martin.
