Relocation of the Inclusion and Wellbeing Service

In November 2024, Falkirk Council's Executive (including Education) agreed that a consultation with all stakeholders be undertaken on the proposal to relocate the Inclusion and Wellbeing Service.

Falkirk Council has undertaken this consultation seeking views on the proposal, under the terms of the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010 as amended. The Consultation Report can be viewed below:

A decision on this proposal will be made by Falkirk Council's Executive on 13 March 2025.

About this consultation

On 07 November 2024, the Executive (including Education) agreed to consult on a proposal for the Inclusion & Wellbeing Service (IWBS) to be relocated from the Laurieston Campus, Bog Road, Falkirk, to the Dawson Centre Campus, Davids Loan, Falkirk from April 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Before any final decision can be taken, a formal consultation is required in accordance with the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010.

The purpose of this formal consultation is to gather the views of those who would be affected by the relocation of the Inclusion & Wellbeing Service to the Dawson Centre and report back to the Executive in March before a decision can be made.
