If you are having problems paying your council tax contact us right away and we will deal with you in an understanding, sympathetic, firm but fair way.

We will:

• allow reasonable repayments to be made
• carry out interviews in private on request
• make sure you receive your full entitlement to any council tax discounts/exemptions, council tax reductions or second adult reductions that you may qualify for
• help you to contact other agencies that can assist if you have more than one debt
