A new support line has been launched to help families struggling to cope due to the additional pressure coronavirus has placed on them.

With many support services also impacted by the pandemic, it can be difficult for families to know where to turn to for help and advice.

That is why we have worked in partnership with Barnardo's and Aberlour to set up the Falkirk Families Information and Support Line.

The support line can be contacted Monday to Friday from 10am to 4:30pm.

Providing help when you need it most

The support line - manned by expert advisers who work for Aberlour and Barnardo’s - aims to provide information and support to local families, including young people and carers, who are seeking advice and support due to:

  • parenting challenges
  • family difficulties
  • isolation
  • mental health and wellbeing
  • relationship problems
  • financial and practical challenges

The advisers can also help make connections with our Support for People Service and Falkirk’s COVID-19 Emergency Community Food Project.
