Once you've had an LFD test

If you have taken an LFD test - whether at home or at a testing site - we would be very interested to hear from you.

As part of the Scottish Government Test to Find programme, Lateral Flow Device tests or Rapid testing has been rolled out throughout Falkirk and Forth Valley to test those who display no COVID-19 symptoms.

Below is a questionnaire asking about your testing experience:

  • It takes between 3-5 minutes to complete.
  • Your opinion will assist us to continue providing asymptomatic testing within your area.
  • We are not asking for any personal details - please do not include any details which could be used to identify you.

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)

We have 2 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test sites in the Falkirk area:

PCR tests are mainly for people who have COVID-19 symptoms or if you have been identified as a close contact through Test and Protect.

You need to make an appointment to get tested at either of the PCR test sites.

You can make an appointment online or phone 0300 303 2713.

Test samples are sent to a lab to be checked and most people get their result the next day, but it may take up to 3 days.

You'll usually get a text or email with your result when it's ready.
