The Community Justice partnership is looking for views on how they  can improve and deliver services in a way that supports desistence from crime. An online consultation is currently running to look at how we can tackle the route causes of offending and secure the best possible outcomes for people with convictions, victims and witnesses, families and communities.

Falkirk Council is part of a wider partnership including Police Scotland, Prison Service, Fire and Rescue Service, NHS Forth Valley, Integrated Joint Board, Courts & Tribunals Service, Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal, Skills Development Scotland and the Third Sector.

All of the services they  provide have a role in supporting those in our communities to live positive lives. They would like to hear from you on how we can ensure services are accessible and address the needs of people who become involved in, or are affected by, offending to create safer, fairer communities and provide opportunities for reintegration for the benefit of all citizens.

This consultation is open to those who live and/or work in Falkirk. If you would like to know more contact community.justice@falkirk.gov.uk.
