Update on HQ/Arts Centre Project
A meeting of Falkirk Council (23 June) has decided to seek further information on the proposed location of its new HQ and Arts Centre.
New proposals have been put forward that will look at two options.
- Locating an office facility at the current Municipal Buildings site along with a new arts centre, library, civic centre and Hub on the High Street with an entrance outside Falkirk Parish Church.
- Locating a new HQ and Art Centre together on the High Street/Cockburn Street site as detailed in the original report.
A further report will be brought to elected members in September 2021 where further designs and costings will be presented.

Scottish Government Guidance COVID-19 Update
Recent announcements from Scottish Government have indicated that there is progress being made towards moving towards Level Zero.
We plan to prepare some further guidance on how this will impact on our recovery and return to work and will issue this towards the end of w/c 5th July. In the meantime, current recovery guidance remains relevant.
