Following the last Executive Committee, there were a number of new and updated policies agreed. The webpages below have been updated to reflect the agreed policies:

  • Menopause Policy – in support of Falkirk Council's commitment to health and wellbeing, this is a new policy establishing awareness of the menopause, support for employees who may be experiencing menopause and accessible resources for colleagues.

  • Learning & Development Policy – updates to the existing policy to reflect new practices of Good Conversations and the Council RITA values.

  • Retirement Policy (non-teaching) – the policy has been updated to remove the 5 year limit on flexible retirement, with new application forms available.

  • Partnership Agreement – this has been updated in agreement with Trade Unions, clarifying roles and responsibilities of all parties and establishes the implementation of joint training for managers and Trade Unions.
