The EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) was set up to allow EU citizens to apply for settled status in the UK so that they can continue to live and work here.

Although the application deadline of 30 June 2021 has now passed, eligible people that have missed the deadline are still allowed to apply through the EUSS where they have reasonable grounds for doing so at www.gov.uk/eusettlementscheme.

Other eligible people in specific circumstances including children and family members can also still apply to EUSS. Further information on these criteria, timescales and how to apply is available at GOV.UK: Apply to the EU Settlement Scheme (settled and pre-settled status).

If you have been granted pre-settled status, please remember to apply for settled status at GOV.UK: Switch from pre-settled status to settled status when you are eligible to do so. You should let your manager know when your status has been changed so that they can arrange for your employee records to be updated.
