Elected Members will be asked to consider a raft of reports at the first meeting of the Council's Executive post-summer recess.

In total, nine reports will be presented to members for consideration including updates on the £1bn Growth Deal and Delivering Best Value action plan, both significant pieces of work that will deliver lasting and positive change.

We’ve summarised several of the reports to be discussed on the day alongside links to the full papers. Remember, no decision will be made on any recommendations until the meeting, which you can watch live from 10am on the 23rd.

Growth Deal

Progress on the work to date on Falkirk and Grangemouth’s ambitious £1bn Growth Deal will be presented to members during the meeting.

Members will hear about the arrangements that have been reached since the original 'in principle’ deal was agreed in December 2021 between Falkirk Council and the UK and Scottish Governments.

The report proposes how and when major decisions relating to Growth Deal projects – listed at the end of the report.
