With the rising cost-of-living, this is a vital time to understand the impact of poverty and what you can do to help those affected the most. 

Fairer Falkirk will be delivering ‘Think Poverty’ training sessions during w/c 3rd of October for Challenge Poverty week (3rd – 9th October 2022).  

Challenge Poverty week is a national campaign which highlights the injustice of poverty in Scotland.

The sessions aim to raise awareness and understanding of poverty and the impact it has on people, the support available and what you can do to help. 

The interactive session will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The following date and times have been scheduled:

  • Poverty Training session 2 – Monday 3rd October 2022 – 13:00 – 14:15pm
  • Poverty Training session 3 – Monday 3rd October 2022 – 15:00 – 16:15pm
  • Poverty Training session 5 – Tuesday 4th October 2022 – 12:00-13:15pm
  • Poverty Training session 6 – Tuesday 4th October 2022 – 14:00-15:15pm
  • Poverty Training session 8 – Wednesday 5th October 2022 – 10-11:15am – (LIMITED SPACE)
  • Poverty Training session 10 – Wednesday 5th October 2022 – 14:00-15:15pm
  • Poverty Training session 11 – Wednesday 5th October 2022 – 16:00-17:15pm
  • Poverty Training session 12 – Thursday 6th October 2022 – 12:00-13:15pm
  • Poverty Training session 13 – Thursday 6th October 2022 – 14:00-15:15pm – (LIMITED SPACE)
  • Poverty Training session 14 – Thursday 6th October 2022 – 16:00-17:15pm
  • Poverty Training session 15 – Friday 7th October 2022 – 10-11:15am – (LIMITED SPACE)

Book a session here  stating which date and time you would like to attend, and you will be sent a teams link. A maximum of 12 people can attend the training session at once. If spaces are full, you will be given the opportunity to join one of the other sessions (depending on numbers). Additional sessions may be added for Friday 7th October if there is interest.
