In light of Government announcements, all funerals (cremation and burial services) should be attended by immediate family only. With social distancing rules, it means we can only accommodate a maximum of 15 with no standing room at our Crematorium.

To assist families with this change at this difficult time, we are offering a free webcasting option for services at Falkirk Crematorium. Families using this can view cremation services from their own homes on their own devices. This can be booked through Wesley Media.

If you require this option please let the Cemetery office know when booking a cremation, they will provide you with a booking number. This number should be used on the Wesley website for choosing songs and webcasting.

You can contact us at: 01324 503650 or bereavement@falkirk.gov.uk.

We also advise mourners to follow 'social distancing' guidance, and so they must not 'shake hands' at the end of cremation and interment services. We are aware that this is a widely accepted practise at funerals however, by collectively avoiding unnecessary contact, we can try our best to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We are withdrawing the hymn books and song sheets from our chapels, as an additional measure to protect service users. Please use any hymn or song sheets provided in the Order of Service.

Additional cleaning of the Crematorium Chapel and other control measures at facilities are in place.
