Dozens of local businesses could be missing out on receiving the latest Scottish Government support targeting bed and breakfasts, and other small guest houses, farmhouses, inns, restaurants with rooms who have seen their business affected  due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Successful applicants will receive a one-off payment of £3,000.

Only a handful of businesses in the Falkirk area have applied through Falkirk Council since the Scottish Government announced the launch if its Bed & Breakfast Hardship Fund last week.

Eligible businesses must include those offering bed & breakfast services, this fund excludes other types of non-serviced accommodation providers such as self-catering, caravan accommodation, Airbnb etc.
