Employees celebrated at Long Service awards

A special event to honour the dedication and commitment of staff who have reached significant career milestones in public service took place on 28 January at the Falkirk Stadium Café.
A total of 141 employees were invited to the event, which recognised individuals who have served 25 and 40 years in their respective roles.

Around 80 attendees were present on the day, representing a wide range of services, including Place, Transformation, Communities & Corporate, Education, and the Health & Social Care Partnership.

The gathering provided a well-deserved opportunity to celebrate the invaluable contributions of long-serving employees, with speeches from the Council Leader Cecil Meiklejohn and Chief Executive Kenneth Lawrie who expressed their gratitude for the dedication and hard work of staff over the decades.

In recognition of their service, employees received awards of £300 for 25 years of service and £800 for 40 years of service.

Congratulations to all those recognised for all those recognised for their exceptional service! 🎉
