Out of School Care services are operated by voluntary organisations, private companies
and local authorities. They are usually based in schools or community centres to
help those families who require childcare for a variety of reasons.
Services are registered with the Care Inspectorate.
Staff are qualified, registered and have had
background checks completed.

and services are scored against how well they meet the standards.
