Two day training course to provide refresher training in First Aid principles to employees who hold a current first aid certificate which is due to expire, thus validating the current first aid certificate for a further 3 years.
On completion of the training the candidates will undertake an exam to ensure that they have a sound theoretical and practical first aid knowledge.
At the end of the Refresher First Aid Course you should be able to:
- Recognise the nature of injury or illness.
- Until further help arrives at the accident scene, or a place of safety, administer first aid treatment.
Please Note: If you do not attend a Refresher First Aid course before the date your certificate expires, you will need to undertake the 3 day Standard First Aid course. You are required to take your current certificate with you to the refresher training. Failure to do so will not affect your training however your new certificate will not be issued until the current certificate has been seen by the First Aid training provider.
