Training will be information based, with some interaction, and will cover the following issues:
- The legislation background
- Definitions
- Diversity of financial harm
- The national and local context
- Impact it can have
- Prevention and protection.
This course is aimed at:
- Council Officers
- Residential and Day Care Managers/Staff
- Home Care/MECS Staff
- NHS FV District, Community and Nursing Staff
- All staff who deal with people in their own homes.
In addition to the above staff, it may also be appropriate for key staff from partner agencies and staff from 'Third Sector' providers in terms of raising awareness and widening understanding of what constitutes Financial Harm to adults at risk.
