This package will help you gain basic awareness of Visual Impairment and resources on where to signpost for support. As many members of staff will come into contact with blind or visually impaired people, it is important to identify when someone has visual impairment, to understand how this may impact them and to alter the service we provide to be able to deliver an accessible service for all users.
