‘Embracing Change’ is a pre-requisite for this course.

As an employer, Falkirk Council recognises that change can be unsettling, it is therefore important to ensure the organisation do what they can to provide the support required to deliver a successful outcome.

This training will help you understand the internal and external forces that are driving the changes in the Council. Your key role as a leader  is to ensure the change is successful. You will also understand the leadership behaviours specific to change, including:

• Communicating with your team.
• Role model appropriate behaviours and attitudes with your team.
• How to engage your team throughout the change process.
• Motivating your team.
• Managing resistance.
• Developing the skills of your team.
