Empowered communities are ones that are able to take control, make decisions, and take action on the things that matter to them and their lives. 

As a council, we hold a lot of power over what happens in the local areas. But we can enable communities to become empowered by sharing this power with them.

In order to enable communities, we must work together with them. How we do this is often called community engagement.

This module will introduce the ways that Falkirk Council aims to work with residents, enable communities and lead empowering community engagement.
