The aim of the above packages is for you to:
- Understand what you need to do when an employee resigns from their post.
- Know how to fill a vacancy.
- Understand some basic principles of the contract of employment.
- Have a knowledge of different conditions of service.
- Understand the different working hours arrangements and flexible working options available to employees.
- Understand the allowances available to employees and eligibility criteria attached to those.
- Understand how annual leave and public holidays are calculated.
- Gain a basic understanding of the different family leave provisions available and eligibility criteria where appropriate.
- Have considered the different types of special leave that may be available in different circumstances.
