This course will provide you with an awareness of common food poisoning bacteria and how to prevent this from occurring in the workplace.
By the end of this module you will have a greater awareness and understanding of the different types of bacteria, together with the conditions that encourages bacterial growth. You will develop an awareness of the most common food poisoning bacteria, how to control their presence and therefore help you to work more safely within your workplace.
This program is a collaboration between the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) and the Clyde Valley Learning and Development Project.
