This session goes beyond the theory and examines the practical aspects of promoting equality and human rights within Falkirk Council. Participants will gain a deep understanding of these fundamental concepts and learn how these relate to your role in Falkirk Council.

A focal point of the workshop is the hands-on training in completing Equality and Poverty Impact Assessments (EPIAs). Participants will develop crucial knowledge and analytical skills to assess the impact of policies and practices on diverse groups within society. Using current proposals and EPIAs, we will practice using a framework for identifying and addressing potential inequalities.
