Poll aims to help social work recruitment and retention in social work
Frontline social work teams across the Council have been taking part in a recent poll that aimed to help understand better what we collectively can do to help keep the talented employees we already have as well as looking to recruit new employees.
The poll came after employee sessions with Falkirk’s Chief Social Work Officer, Sara Lacey, to discuss the impact of current challenges faced by teams.
She explained: “I’m extremely grateful for the practical, constructive, and honest responses of colleagues to this survey. Staff have shown their commitment to local communities within their feedback, and told us how we can better support them to deliver the best possible service to the people of Falkirk."
More than 100 employees took part in the survey - you can see more information about via the HSCP website.
