The first staff recognition event of 2024 was held at the Foundry on Monday 24 June marking the exceptional achievements, innovative projects and commitment to excellence from employees across the Council.

The small gathering underscored the value of creativity and teamwork which is delivering  service improvements for Falkirk’s residents.

The event marks the second of the more intimate approach to thanking individual employees and teams for the excellent work undertaken and allow the Chief Executive, Leader of the Council and Directors to thank employees in person. These and future gatherings will provide a platform for acknowledgement and appreciation.

Kenneth Lawrie, Chief Executive said:

The first staff recognition event of 2024  was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements and unwavering commitment to excellence demonstrated by employees across the Council. Being able to personally  thank and recognise the outstanding contributions of our staff who go above and beyond is truly meaningful. These recognition events provide a crucial platform for acknowledging and appreciating the remarkable efforts of our employees. I look forward to future gatherings where we can continue to celebrate the incredible work being done across the Council."
