What information do we collect about you?

We collect:

  • Your address

Where do you collect information about me from?

We collect the address information of your Alexa device from Amazon web services. You must grant consent permission for Falkirk Council in the Amazon Alexa app before we can access this information.

How long do we keep hold of your information?

We keep your information for 6 months to measure the performance and usage of the Falkirk Council Alexa Skill.

Who might we share your information with?

In some cases we might share your information with external organisations, such as data processors who provide us with IT software.

Do you use any automated processes to make decisions about me?

No.

Will we send your information outwith the UK?

No.

Do I have to provide my personal data to you?

You do not have to provide information to us, but the Alexa Skill will not function without your address information.

What are my rights in relation to the information held about me?

You have the following rights:

  • To see any information held about you by making a subject access request.
  • To withdraw consent at any time, where the legal basis for processing is consent.
  • To data portability, where the legal basis for processing is (i) consent or (ii) performance of a contract.
