This guidance does not apply to employees delivering direct care to individuals, such as employees working within the Health & Social Care Partnership. Separate guidance covers these work activities.
Employees working within other peoples homes must follow the guidance below:

householders should be asked to ensure where possible windows are opened in relevant areas of the house prior to the employee arriving, during the visit and for a period afterwards to provide adequate ventilation for the area.

workers should try to keep a reasonable distance from individuals in the household.
Work areas should also ensure that records are kept of which workers attended which properties in order to assist contact tracing where someone tests positive for COVID-19 at a later date.
