Want to make a real difference to health and wellbeing at work? Join our Wellbeing Group.
You don't need special qualifications to take a seat at the table - just a genuine desire to help create a healthier, happier and more supportive workplace.
We're looking for people like you from across all our services to join. Whether you’re on the frontline in the classroom, out on the road, in care, or in the back office keeping the Council running, you’ll represent your colleagues and bring your unique perspective to the table.
Joining the group also provides you with an opportunity to work with colleagues from across services and directly with Kenneth Lawrie, our Chief Executive, and contribute to discussions where everyone around the table is an equal working towards the same goal.
As an advocate for your colleagues, you’ll help bring real issues to Wellbeing Group meetings, offering recommendations and viewpoints to help inform wellbeing policies, activities and initiatives so they better reflect what employees across the organisation need.
Aim of the group
The group aims to make wellbeing a top priority for everyone, provide access to meaningful resources, support and activities, and build a workplace culture founded on mutual care and support.
To do that, we need you to join the group and become part of the team committed to creating a positive, inclusive and happy workplace.
Time commitment
The group will meet every 4 months in a location that supports in-person and virtual attendance.
There may be additional meetings throughout the year, but we’ll take into account how busy you are and your working hours when arranging these.
