Last chance to vote as Community Choices closes this Friday!

If you've not voted for the projects youād like to see funded through Community Choices, thereās still a few more days left to make your choice!
So far, nearly 2000 people have voted ā but Itās vital that as many people as possible use their votes to support the 57 projects applying for Small Grants of up to Ā£5,000.
Now itās your turn to use your votes and make a real difference, not just to the groups applying but for your wider community.
Wide range of projects
Projectās seeking funding reflect the unique needs of each of Falkirk Councilās nine wards.
From initiatives to support peopleās mental and physical wellbeing ā including singing, gardening and keeping active - to funding a festive event and creating a cafĆ© for young people.
Voting is open to anyone aged 16 or over living in the Falkirk Council area. You can vote in two ways:
- Online via Participate+, Falkirk Councilās community engagement platform
- In person using a paper ballot, available at your local library
You can vote for up to three projects in the Ward where you liveābut you donāt have to use all three votes. Only votes cast for projects in your own Ward will count.
Successful projects will be announced on Friday, 28 March 2025.
What is Community Choices?
Community Choices is Falkirk Councilās participatory budgeting programme, putting the power in local hands. It allows community groups to apply for funding and gives residents the final say on which projects receive financial support.
