Langlees Early Learning and Childcare Centre (ELC Centre) sits to the west of Falkirk town centre. Langlees ELC Centre lies in the heart of the Langlees Community and opened in August 2018 as a new local authority nursery delivering 1140 hours of Early Learning and Childcare. It provides funded early learning and childcare for children between the ages of 2 to 5 years.
ELC Model
Langlees ELC Centre offers 5 hour funded sessions 5 days per week, for all eligible children across 45.6 weeks of the year. The ELC Centre is open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and is open during the school term and the summer holiday period.
Children are provided with a healthy snack and a 2 course lunch or dinner during each session.
Benefits
Young children learn new things every single day no matter where they are but we know that spending time in a high quality early learning and childcare setting can really boost their all-round development and learning.
