The marriage renewal ceremony is for any married couple who wish to celebrate renewing their marriage vows in a personalised ceremony.
Often this type of ceremony is associated with a special wedding anniversary, but the ceremony can be held at any stage of marriage. Couples who marry abroad may choose
to hold this ceremony on their return.
The ceremony should have no religious content and has no legal status. A souvenir certificate is signed at the end of the ceremony by the couple and two witnesses.
The ceremony can be held at our registration office in Falkirk.
The renewal of marriage vows ceremony can be personalised to your own requirements and may contain readings, rededication of rings and the acknowledgement of children
etc.
