Children who are unable to live with their families can stay in one of our three children's homes in the Falkirk Council area.
We manage two of these homes:
- Tremanna in Slamannan provides long-term care for up to six children and young people.
- Wallace Crescent in Polmont provides short-term care for five children. Children who stay here may return to their families. Some children stay here when we have not found a long-term placement for them.
West Side Farm provides therapeutic care for four children who have additional needs. Care Visions manage West Side Farm for us.
Sometimes, following an assessment and depending on their needs, we place some children and young people outwith the Falkirk Council area in specialist children's homes.
All children in our care have a Child’s Plan. We review each Child’s Plan at least every six months. This helps us to make sure we’re meeting the children’s needs and helping them realise their potential.
