Traffic orders
Traffic orders allow various road restrictions to be enforced. These include waiting
restrictions, speed limits, parking, turning manoeuvres and weight restrictions.
These restrictions are promoted and implemented by us as required by law.
Proposed traffic regulation orders are advertised on the last Thursday of every
month
in the Falkirk Herald, on site and on tellmescotland.
You comment on or object to proposals and unresolved objections are referred
to the Council's Planning Committee for a decision.
Temporary traffic orders
Temporary traffic regulation orders can be used to manage traffic and are often
used
in relation to road works. They can also be used to allow traffic to be managed
at community events such as gala days or public processions. Current temporary traffic
orders can be viewed at tellmescotland.
