Residents and businesses in the Westfield area who want to know more about the A9/A904 Westfield Improvement Project are invited to attend a drop-in event.
Organised after the Westfield Community Project reached out to Falkirk Council, the event aims to provide local people with answers to their questions about the major infrastructure project.
Event details

🕰️ Between 3pm and 5pm (drop in at any point)
📍 Westfield Park Community Centre, Westfield Street, Falkirk FK2 9DX

Who’ll be there?
Representatives from Falkirk Council, Balfour Beatty, and WSP will be at the event to:
- Provide updates on the work completed so far
- Outline what’s coming next
- Explain the overall aims and long-term benefits of the project
- Answer questions and address concerns from residents and businesses
As well as speaking to the team, you’ll also have the chance to view a presentation that highlights key project details, upcoming work and what the area will look like once the work is complete in early 2027.
Paul Kettrick, Falkirk Council’s Head of Investment, Assets and Climate, said:
Infrastructure projects of this scale can be disruptive, and we fully understand the frustrations local people may have.
"That is why this event is important – it gives the community the chance to ask questions directly to those who planned the project, are managing the work, and are delivering it on the ground.
"We are committed to addressing concerns and ensuring everyone understands why the work is needed and the long-term benefits it will bring to the area.
If you are unable to attend the drop-in event but have questions about the project, please contact us through the project's dedicated website.
Your enquiry will be forwarded to the appropriate team, who will respond as soon as possible.
The website also provides project updates, background information and more.
