Kinnaird Primary School is a non-denominational primary school situated in the north side of Larbert which is approximately 7 miles from the centre of Falkirk. The school provides education from nursery to primary 7.

We have an enhanced facility which allows us to support pupils with additional support needs.

Early Learning and Childcare

Early Learning and Childcare is available for 5 days per week. The ELC Centre is open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and is open all year except bank holidays, in-service days and in between Christmas and New Year. The Centre offers fully flexible childcare for a core of 30 hours per week (term time) or 23 hours and 20 minutes on a full year contract. Additional wrap around hours can also be purchased if capacity allows.

Children are provided with a healthy snack and a 2 course lunch during each session.

Young children learn new things every single day no matter where they are but we know that spending time in a high quality early learning and childcare setting can really boost their all-round development and learning.

Ongoing construction work

Construction works to build the Early Years Campus at Kinnaird Primary School have now begun. The Contractor's compound and building site is fenced off and separate from the main school, so normal operation of the school will not be affected. There will be very limited parking available at the school during the construction period. All of this parking will be required for school staff and is not available for parents during the school day. Similarly, the drop-off area is for the sole use of pupil taxis for Thistle Wing Pupils during drop-off and pick-up times.

Please note that there will only be one entrance/exit during the construction period.

We ask that parents please avoid driving pupils to school during the construction period, and under no circumstances drive into the school car park or drop-off zone at these times. Any attempt to do so will cause congestion which could endanger pupils.
