UK Parliamentary election for the Falkirk constituency

An Election is to be held for of a Member of Parliament to serve the Falkirk constituency.

Nomination papers can be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer: Falkirk Council, Election Office Rossvail, 108 Glasgow Road, Camelon, Falkirk, FK1 4HS, during the times stated below.

Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer at Falkirk Council, Election Office Rossvail, 108 Glasgow Road, Camelon, Falkirk, FK1 4HS, on Monday 3 June to Friday 7 June, 10:00am to 4:00pm, but no later than 4.00pm on Friday 7 June 2024.

The £500 deposit can be paid (a) by legal tender, (b) by means of a banker's draft from a drawer which carries on business as a banker in the United Kingdom, (c) by means of debit or credit card by telephone by prior arrangement agreed with the Returning Officer, or (d) by electronic transfer of funds, also by prior arrangement agreed with the Returning Officer.

If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 4 July 2024.

Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Ground Floor Right, Glendevon House, The Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ by 12 midnight on Tuesday 18 June 2024. Applications to register can be made online.

New applications to vote by post, and amendments to or cancellations of existing postal votes or proxy vote arrangements, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Ground Floor Right, Glendevon House, The Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ by 5:00pm on Wednesday 19 June 2024. Applications to vote by post can be made online.

Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Ground Floor Right, Glendevon House, The Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ by 5:00pm on Wednesday 26 June 2024. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate can be made online.

New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Ground Floor Right, Glendevon House, The Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ by 5:00pm on Wednesday 26 June 2024. Some applications to vote by proxy can be made online.

Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Ground Floor Right, Glendevon House, The Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ by 5:00pm on Thursday 4 July 2024.
