The Community Estate Team aim to ensure cleaner and safer communities, by improving the environmental quality of life, and feeling of well-being within our estates.
The team consists of one Community Estate Team Leader, and 5 Community Estate Officers. Officers patrol Falkirk Council housing estates from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
Officers can be recognised by their black uniform and Falkirk Council hi-vis waistcoats. The team patrol our housing estates on foot, by car and also on mountain bikes. Officers can be approached by any member of the public looking for assistance.
Officers are authorised to investigate and issue Fixed Penalty Notices for dog fouling, litter and fly tipping offences. Officers wear personal CCTV body cameras which are activated during investigations and antisocial behaviour related incidents.
The team also patrol and monitor housing estates experiencing youth-related disorder, and work closely with partner agencies such as Police Scotland, SACRO and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to address these issues quickly. Please see further information on the Housing Estate Safety page regarding estate safety.
