The Town Centre Health Check Report seeks to provide a comprehensive health check for the main town centres in our area which includes Falkirk Town Centre and the District Centres at Bo'ness, Denny, Grangemouth and Stenhousemuir.
Preparing a town centre health check is now a requirement of Scottish Planning Policy (SPP) 2014. It is a means of properly assessing the state of our town centres and providing a sound information base to identify future actions in the local development plan.
The Health Check pulls together a range of information from a wide range of sources and presents this under a list of indicators for each town centre. It is anticipated that the Health Check will be updated every 2 years.
