Self-evaluation and planning for improvement happens in every school. Schools are
expected to know themselves well and be able to identify both their strengths and
areas for future improvement.
The school improvement plan process is led by the head teacher and the Senior Management
Team and involves both staff and pupils. Parents' and carers' views are represented
through the Parent Council.
The school improvement plan is finalised around June each year and shared with parents.
This can be shared in summary form in the school handbook. Alternatively, the summary
or whole plan may be posted on the school website.
For more information on your child's School Improvement Plan, please contact the
head teacher.
