In 2023 we carried out a piece of important research to find out more about your experience as an employee.

We want to understand the current employee experience so we can create plans and strategies to improve and develop an effective future workforce.

A short survey was available on the intranet along with one to one interviews and focus groups.

Your feedback and contributions will now form the basis of work we are carrying out to improve the employee experience.

Planning is currently underway to hold a few service-led employee listening events and the research results will also be further analysed by Service Managers and Chief Officers at a Leadership Forum in March.

The Council's Wellbeing Group will look at the wellbeing results from the research and take steps to put in place appropriate supports as required.

The results from the 1752 participants who took part of the online survey are detailed below.
