We are offering a one-off payment of £75 to help households in receipt of Council Tax Reduction with the cost of living.
If you were in receipt of Council Tax Reduction on 15 January 2023, you should have received a letter from us asking you to complete an online form. You need to complete this form so we can arrange your payment. Once we receive your details, we aim to make payments by 28 March 2023 at the latest.
Eligibility
You are eligible for this payment if you were in receipt of Council Tax Reduction on 15 January 2023. This is means tested support with your Council Tax (i.e. you have had to tell us about your income) and isn't the same as a Single Persons discount.

How do I receive my payment?
Once you have received your letter, you need to fill in a short online form. You need to do this by the date shown on the letter.
You can access the online form by using your phone to scan the QR code on the letter, or by typing the web link provided into the address bar of your internet browser.
Once the form is complete, you will receive the payment by your chosen method by 28 March 2023.
Can I get help with this?
If you aren't sure how to fill in the form or don't have internet access, don't worry. You can get help in a number of ways:

You can also phone us on 01324 503995 – please leave your full name, contact number and your benefit reference number (this can be found on the top right of your letter).
If you phone, you will be asked to leave a message, and someone will call you back as soon as possible. Depending on the volume of requests it may take us some time to get back to you. If you have already left a message please do not leave another one as this will add to the time it will take us to contact everyone.
