What should I do if I am homeless?
If you are homeless, or think you may become homeless in the next two months, you
should contact our Access to Housing Team as soon as you can.
It is very important that you get in touch straight away as we can:
- Try and stop you losing your home
- Help you find new accommodation
- Arrange for you to stay in short term accommodation
- Contact other agencies to help you
How do I get in touch?
Our homeless service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
During normal working hours (Monday - Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm), please contact:

This is our emergency service for people who find themselves homeless in a crisis
situation and need immediate accommodation. Emergency staff are on duty 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week.
What happens when I get in touch?
We will arrange an interview for you with a Homeless Advice Officer. Our staff are
fully trained to offer all information and advice you may need . Our services are:
If you contact the emergency team because you don't have anywhere to go, we will:
- Arrange temporary accommodation for you
- Make an appointment for a homeless interview with a Homeless Advice Officer on
the next working day
It is still very important to come to your homeless interview even if you find a
place to spend the night with friends or family and decline our offer of accommodation.
We will need to work with you as quickly as we can to resolve your housing problem.
