To support our Litter Strategy and annual Litter Prevention Action Plan, we want to provide support, guidance and a range of litter resources for schools, businesses, landowners and community groups to use.
The Strategy and Action plan have a focus on prevention. We want to promote our resources to encourage a sense of community pride and responsibility within the Falkirk area.
Reducing incidents of dog fouling, littering and fly-tipping and increasing the rate of recycling is important for sustainability and we want Falkirk residents to play their part.
Additional litter resources can be found from Zero Waste Scotland's Anti-litter toolkit and Keep Scotlands Beautiful Handy resources.
Our resources can be downloaded below. If you have any questions about any of the resources or if you have suggestions, please contact us at WasteServices@falkirk.gov.uk.
Our educational toolkit has a string of lessons that revolve around litter, resources, sustainability, climate change and plastic pollution.
These lessons can be personalised to include images of the local area. To personalise these lessons, contact us at WasteServices@falkirk.gov.uk.
To support community groups, we have created posters that can be used to highlight a community groups clean-up efforts and future clean up events. To personalise these resources, please contact WasteServices@falkirk.gov.uk.
