We are working in partnership with LitterLotto and Keep Scotland Beautiful to combat the growing issue of litter in our communities by urging people to bin their litter responsibly.
LitterLotto is an exciting, free to enter, 18+ cash prize draw that incentivises the binning of litter, promoting a positive behaviour change to make a lasting impact on the local community. Residents, employees, and visitors to Falkirk are encouraged to bin it to win it!
To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is download the free LitterLotto app on your smartphone or device and using the apps camera function, upload a photo of the litter as you place it in the bin.
You can enter as many times as you like, as long as it's a different piece of litter each time being deposited into a Falkirk Council street bin. Putting rubbish in household waste doesn't count!
Each month, a prize draw will see one lucky person chosen at random win the £100 Council-wide cash prize. You could also be put into further cash prize draws, such as the weekly LitterLotto UK £1000 pot!

How do I submit an entry?
Download the LitterLotto app on your device (available via Apple App store and Google Play store) and using the apps camera function, photograph the piece of litter being disposed of into a Falkirk Council street bin.
For a submission to meet the entry criteria a picture must have/be the following:
- A picture of either a hand or a litter grabber/picker holding the item/piece of litter.
- The item should be positioned just at the lip/entry point of a bin.
- If you're taking part in an organised litter pick. Thank-you! Please place one item of litter in a bin and submit a photo to enter the prize draw. The rest of your litter can go into your Falkirk Council issued bin bag/black bag clearly showing our Falkirk Council Take Pride in Falkirk litter pick sticker.
- The image should clearly show the item (the valid items considered as litter are explained in detail in the LitterLotto Official Rules.
