We run a Travelling Persons Site at Redding Industrial Estate near Falkirk.

Map

The site has 15 hard stand pitches, with each pitch able to hold two caravans. Each pitch has access to a chalet with a toilet and washing facilities. One of the chalets is suitable for a wheelchair user. All caravans can be connected to an electricity supply. The site has a CCTV system in place.

A Travelling Persons Officer is based on the site Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5pm. They can help you with any problems you may have during your stay.

How do I apply for a pitch?

You can get an application form from the Travelling Persons Officer by using the contact details on this page. You can also get an application form from one of our Advice and Support Hubs.

Completed application forms should be returned to the Travelling Persons Officer or one of our Advice and Support Hubs.

How are pitches allocated?

We have a waiting list for our pitches. When a pitch becomes available it will normally be let to the applicant who has been on the waiting list the longest.

However, if your application has the earliest date, but you already have a lease on another authorised site, we may look at applicants who do not have a site to stay on. They will be assessed as being in greater need for a place.

We will contact you if we are able to offer you a pitch. If we cannot get in touch with you, the offer will be made to the next applicant on the waiting list as long as there is no other applicant with greater need.

Who do I contact outside of office hours?

In an emergency situation, when the office is closed, you should call 01324 506070.
