If you've not voted for the projects you’d like to see funded through Community Choices, you have until midnight tonight (Friday 28 February 2025) to make your choice!

So far, nearly 2000 people have voted – but It’s vital that as many people as possible use their votes to support the 57 projects applying for Small Grants of up to £5,000.

Now it’s your turn to use your votes and make a real difference, not just to the groups applying but for your wider community.

Wide range of projects

Project’s seeking funding reflect the unique needs of each of Falkirk Council’s nine wards.

From initiatives to support people’s mental and physical wellbeing – including singing, gardening and keeping active - to funding a festive event and creating a café for young people.

How to vote

Voting is open to anyone aged 16 or over living in the Falkirk Council area. You can vote in two ways:

  • Online via Participate+, Falkirk Council’s community engagement platform.
  • In person using a paper ballot, available at your local library.

You can vote for up to three projects in the Ward where you live—but you don’t have to use all three votes. Only votes cast for projects in your own Ward will count.

Successful projects will be announced on Friday, 28 March 2025.
